We have an occasional visitor, Mr. Goanna. We always get a surprise when we spot him sunning himself next to our house, amongst the turkeys. We cannot help but stare at his patterned scaly skin in fascination, and it reminds us of aboriginal art. He moves pretty fast and we keep well away, and just observe!
